Great report Anne! Congratulations on finishing! My wife and I were out on the coast enjoying our annual New Year's Day hike, and the winds were frighteningly stiff. I was thinking about you all out on the roads down south of us. That had to be a very taxing second half.
It's funny how the little things trip us up on longer rides - slight discomfort, small choices to "eat later" - and once you drop down that hole, it's very difficult to recover. I have reached the conclusion that whenever I have the whisp of an idea to eat or drink, I need to act on it. But, again, great to hear things went as well as they did. - Jim -- Jim Edgar [email protected] Cyclofiend Bicycle Photo Galleries - http://www.cyclofiend.com Current Classics - Cross Bikes Singlespeed - Working Bikes Workshops of the iBob's Send In Your Photos! - Here's how: http://www.cyclofiend.com/guidelines "My nighttime attitude is anyone can run you down and get away with it. That's why I don't even own a bike light or one of those godawful reflective suits. Because if you've put yourself in a position where someone has to see you in order for you to be safe...you've already blown it." -- Neal Stephenson, "Zodiac" -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
