It was back in the mid 90s when I picked up a Bridgestone catalog and read a great article about an american made baseball mitt. That kinda blew my mind and led me to join the new Bridgestone Owners Bunch back then.
Of course the Rivendell Readers remained in the wide-range view of topics, but I was always most interested in the articles that brought me a deeper understanding of how and why bicycles worked. Together these articles totally changed how I ride, increasing comfort and pleasure considerably to my cycling: Myth of KOPS, (also the 11-step stick figure frame primer that Grant recently re-ran from the website) RR8 The Z factor (or the amount of top tube length ahead of the setback) RR13 A Fistful of Seatpost RR20 Experiments with Rake & Trail RR31 While looking for those, I found some other notably fun articles: History of Reynolds Tubing RR6 The Steel in a Frame, The Randonneurs (first time I had heard of randos), Who invented the Mtn Bike RR11 Interview with Tim Isaac at Match (I later bought a Curt Goodrich built road frame), Moving God Around (by Beth Hamon) RR15 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
