What am I thinking? I have Noodles on the Fargo where (since it is largely an offroad bike) has the bars some 4" or 5" higher than on my road bikes, and on the Fargo they work very well. The big difference is a far longer and somwhat deeper bend, the long reach mitigated to a degree by the slight backward sweep of the flats. I disliked them in a road position but do like them set higher up where the hooks correspond more or less to the hoods on my 185s and the ramps and hoods, not to mention the flats, give me a sit up high position for rough dirt and steep dropoffs.
