Jim: Grant has noted in other posts (on the Hunqapillar, iirc) that Kasei makes the very best tubing avail and some of that is used in the 'Pillar, even though it is a Taiwanese built frame. His Hilsen posts starts out "if made in Wisconsin" but that is their only locale these days. A few years ago, some frames came from either Japan or WI, and he was clear that tubing quality was equal from either place, as was build quality.
