That Comp cranket is still square taper ( ISO of course) which suprises me. Perhaps a nod to us retro Riv types? For me the Shimergo combo of 10 speed shifters and 8 speed shimaNo splined cassettes is the best of both worlds as the max Campy cassette cog is 29T.
