On my Ram, the controlling factor is the brakes. I can fit a 37 Pasela on the back but it won' fit on the front because of the Tektro R538 caliper. I'm hoping some day, when I get ready to re-paint, of adding canti studs so I can run the bigger tires. I could probably fit a bigger tire if I found some old school Campy calipers as they don't hang down as much.
