Received a notice from UPS today that my "shipment" - although it did leave Walnut Creek, was not scanned in at the next tracking point. They are "investigating" of course, (what does that mean anyway; harvesting a fresh crop of brown navel lint?) and advised me to wait two weeks until I file a claim in case it was simply misplaced. How can you misplace a freakin' Bombadil? I have a bad feeling about this.
