I confess to admiring some of the purty show bikes from NAHBS, regularly visit the current classics section on cyclofiend's site, and admire the looks of my Rivs quite a bit, but I just don't have it in me to keep my bikes presentation-quality.
Last time I tried to get the Atlantis seriously clean, my five-year old released our golden retrievers, and in the resulting melee my rear derailer hanger got bent.
