Another tip: get an extra and keep it in your tool kit. I was once on a ride 
and decided to try a new seat height. When I tightened the bolt, I torqued too 
much and broke it, meaning standing pedaling the whole way home...

...except I was lucky and there was a hardware store within a mile.
