It was a bike-picnic and not an S24O. But the gear was a joy to use and the resulting meal was delicious. The oatmeal and coffee were made by boiling about 24oz water, which took about 12 min. The salami and eggs took about 15-20 min combined. I used about 5-6oz of fuel (85-90% denatured alcohol, the rest water). It was windy (25-30mph gusts), which probably reduced the stove's efficiency. But the stove's flame was stable and silent. And the whole cooking system was easy to use and clean and put away.
