Small update: I had the model number wrong on those shifters I listed as a possible partial trade for a Mark's rack. They are the Shimano SL-BS77 bar end shifters, without the bar end pods as stated above. So they are usable as DT shifters, but the levers are not the same shape as the 7700s.
I also found some other shifters in the parts drawer: - a pair of scratched but functional Shimano bar end shifters / barcons labeled "SL-BS50." I think these are technically 7 speed shifters, though the rear appears to have an 8th "click" (and/or it can be set to friction.) - some lovely Shimano SL-M700 (Deerhead group I believe) ratcheting friction thumb shifters. And, as long as I'm updating, I might as well mention an even longer-shot request than the Nitto front rack: I'm also looking for a medium olive Sackville Shopsack. RBW is out of stock.
