Hey all -

I have a pair of the non-grooved miesha cork grips, and am hollowing them
out myself to allow me to use bar ends -

I just did the hollowing out, and it seems like there is a lot of cork
hanging off the end of the bar (i.e. the bar end shifter will have to go
through about 1/2" of cork before hitting the end of the handlebar).

Do I have to shorten the grip by sanding off the end that hangs off the bar
a bit?

Any help would be appreciated.
