They are indeed Berthouds, the 50mm.  I am running the 40mm duremes.  

Setting these up was a two day affair.  It was like trying to solve a puzzle 
that I was not any good at (like the first time you try a crossword).  I had 
to take a hacksaw to the rear fender to get it in between the chainstays.  I 
decided to get the Berthouds instead of having riv install the longboards, 
and wish that I had gone the latter route (although they do look awesome).

Now I know more about installing stainless fenders though, so there is that. 
 They aren't rattling, so that's good, and they do look great now that they 
are installed, it was just a serious pain.

Just got back from a two hour ride, the biggest difference in this bike and 
every other bike I have ever owned is my arms, neck, and back aren't tired 
before my legs are.  What a blessing that is.  More stories to follow for 
sure.
