Just replying to my own post. I went out for a S24O without securing the fender like i had with the Nitto Mini (so i just had the stays, the daruma, but nothing at the front of the rack), and ended up rattling it out of position. Thank goodness for bungies i was able to get equal enough tension to hold it in place (for 60 miles). As i was riding a lightbulb went off, i figured i could use an extra daruma and a zip-tie to hold the front of the fender in place and then it would be almost the be same as the underside boss on my Nitto Mini Front.
Attached is a pic, the daruma is not as far forward as i would like but i already had a hole there from my Nitto Mini and couldn't move it forward, so far it's really solid, no movement, but i still need a long bumpy ride to see if it will hold. Sometime over the winter i'll also try the fork-fender-wedge from the guys at Boulder Cycles to see if that will also tighten up the daruma on the underside of the fork. http://flic.kr/p/ajj55A On Aug 25, 8:39 pm, Minh <mgiangs...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi all, > > Just a quick question for ideas, i'm in the process of swapping out > myNittoMini front for aNittoBig Front.
