He is starting young! At two I got Catie a Radio Flyer, lowrider, pneumatic tire'd, freewheel tricycle (with parent override steering) and it wasn't until 4 that she got her first, 16" wheel bike.
(While shopping I used to push her around the aisles of our nearby Albertson's on the trike; I rather miss that. Later, she'd ride the 16"-wheeler thru the aisles by herself; now I just push my own bikes thru the aisles in lieu of a shopping cart. My trikes stay outside.)
