$7.50 of 3/4" aluminum strut and an hour of labor yields  a very usable
support for the Camper. The SQR, even mounted as high as possible on the
long seatpost, drags the Camper on the wheel (a non-LF Nelson barely
clears); the support also allows a higher weight limit than the Carradice
sanctioned 10 KG. I carried 20 lb home from the grocery store.
