Between the RR and BQ I've never been happier mixing the philosophies of Jan and Grant to suit my cycling lifestyle. Although Jan's bike selection seems to be pretty Riv-free these days, his Journey of Discovery and recent homage to Grant have made me realize that Jan didn't go from training wheels straight to a Singer or Herse. There was a progression very much like my own.
