I did hear of the sale, but didn't pay much attention to it since I don't
have the money now for a new frame.

So the SO is also discontinued -- too bad, but perhaps, if it is like the
QB, it is not as "road-y" in handling as I want (tho' the specs for the 56
look very promising. Anyway, QBs come up for sale on various lists quite
often, so SO's will probably also start appearing used.
