I'm in Maplewood, NJ, with a '98 RivRoad. I'm an all-steel, all-wool sort of rider, from way back... worked in the Montclair Bikery in the 70s, and raced back then... My Riv is my main ride these days, although I also love my '89 steel Harry Havnoonian. I also have a BikeFriday tandem with trailer, that gets lots of use ferrying kids to school and hauling groceries.
I ride sometimes with a local group of business-man carbono hammer heads. It is gratifying to get the occasional double-take at the lugs and down-tube shifters.
