Hi Manny. I rented some bikes from a shop down near the West Village (http://www.bikeshopny.com/) and rode up along the Hudson River Greenway and into Central Park. We had a lot of fun. The shop is not very Rivendellish, but it's a nice starting and end point for a big loop of the city.
