Now that spring is upon California like any real California spring the rain comes in. But that doesn't stop the Venturing Crew's after-school bike rides! Despite the initial shower we got in the morning there was two kids that wanted to brave the rain and the cold. One of my students Oscar after dealing with a torn menisicus injury finally was able to get back on the bike after so long. It's hard to explain other people's excitement for biking so I quote from his facebook ,"Feeling so alive! After bike riding after so long...I felt like my body was going to explode from the lack of exercise, now I'm back!" This made my day.
