Be careful what you wish for... I've had similar Hunqa-lust. Went so far as to call Riv and talk to Keven about the different capabilities between dream Hunqa and my Homer. Keven suggested that unless I was planning to ride lots of cobblestone single-track or haul big loads that the Homer was quite capable. His advice was to not baby my Homer and have fun. It was/is good advice. Sure, I wouldn't mind having a Hunqa to hang next to Homer and pull out for the occasional off-road adventure but I think if all I had was a Hunqa, I'd be Homer-sick quite often.
FWIW... Following a couple recent dirt road adventures (even a few cobblestones) Homer with 40mm tires is beast enough/perfect for the vast majority of where I want to ride. Not sure how your Homer is set up but perhaps a few component changes would renew it. Whatever direction you go, Happy Pedaling. --Smitty On Monday, April 23, 2012 8:16:23 PM UTC-7, Scotty wrote: > > man, every time I look at the Hunqapillar with the gray/kidney color > scheme it speaks to me.
