Was just at my local sporting goods store, checking out their bicycle stuff, and checked one of these helmets out. I was amazed by how light and comfortable it was. I mean, floored. I think I may get one.
I have a nutcase and a pro-tec helmet, and both of them are like twice as heavy. They have an annoying little visor thing that has been added (it's cloth) which you could just not use, but I think that i may get one of them for wearing around town. It doesn't have holes all over it like Grant's prototype drawing of the perfect helmet, but it does have big vents on the top. another thing I noticed is that the helmet looks like it's designed so that the straps would tear out of the helmet if the ear hole straps caught on anything. Anyone else try one of these or check one out? this is the helmet: http://www.amazon.com/Giro-2027GRH-Reverb-Bike-Helmet/dp/B005QZLPJE -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
