Sure Peter .. to each out own !  One's passion is anothers poison.  As I 
said, I've used flat portions in the middle of a wide bar on my Stumpjumper 
and found the position to be uncomfortable . And yes ..they are different 
than using a drop bar, as drop bars *DROP* from the middle to the swept 
back part, Bosco bars *RISE*. This is for ME of course.  We're just sharing 
opinions here, and there's never anything to be sorry about !
