Assuming sweating is no issue, this chest stabilizer would improve on just using the camera strapped as a sling. For situations where one wouldn't want to hold the camera on one's body, then some sort of quick-release/handlebar clamp solution could be considered for quick access to the camera, or even taking photos/videos while riding.
