+1 to all of what Liesl and Eric said.  This could not have been better -
weather, food, Riv-fans and owners, bikes, etc.  Grant and his daughter
both arrived by bike (not a tandem), by the way.  Thanks Jim T and everyone
at HC and everyone who attended.

If you are at a location where Grant is scheduled to appear in the future
you owe it to yourself to go.  For me, meeting Grant in person put a
perfect cap on everything I have ever known about Bridgestone and Rivendell
and the integrity and honesty of those organizations because of his
leadership.  His whole way of running the company is so different from the
marketing, hype and unnecessary products and "improvements" by other
companies that it makes Rivendell seem like it is from another planet.  A
very good planet, indeed.  Planet Rivendell.

Just Ride.

-jb - who is also not packed and just an hour ago decided which bike to
take on the Sat/Sun ride.  It will be the LHT with 700 x 35 Paselas.
