So I am building up my new Hunq, and one of the neo-retro brakes got damaged in shipping, which has bought me some time to ponder picking up some of the paul canti lever levers.
Just wondering if I *need* the Paul levers to use the shimano levers. I have the regular silver mountain bikey levers from Riv, was planning on using those w/ the Paul brakes. Now that I see how powerful the paul brakes are (they are BEEFY) I wonder if the little blurb on the paul site about using the canti levers w/ the neo retros is the move. So I am really wondering - for those of you with paul neo retros - what do you think? Need the paul levers? Okay with shimanos?
