Pacific Coast Cycles in Oceanside. The owner is Chuck, and it is a common occurrence to get into nice conversations with him. It's on PCH on the ocean-side of the street, not far north of the Carlsbad/Oceanside border.

My brother lives in San Diego and is interested in getting into cycling, mostly for commuting/exercise/urban riding. I'm wondering if anybody can point me to a decent shop near La Jolla that isn't so racing-bike oriented.
