Took it out for a ride last night, first one. Just a rolling 20 mile ride, around Burlington, VT.
I am not quite done building it up, but wanted to get it out and ride it around. (The front brake got damaged during shipping, and I just received the replacement yesterday!). I have a 64cm Sam, which I love. I decided I wanted to add another bike, and figured i'd either get a big QB, or a Hunqapillar (and then make the Sam a little lighter for using around Burlington, which I would have done with the QB). Found a great deal on the list for the Hunq, and decided to go that route. I'll be adding a mini front rack/platrack/slickersack combination to the front, and putting the supernova lights on the Hunq. I moved the large saddlesack off the sam, added a big baggins to the back of that bike, and a nitto front rack and basket to the front of the Sam. I am running Marathon Supreme 50's on the Hunq, and Jack Brown Greens on the Sam (I used to have Dureme 40's on the Sam, but thought i might want to have a little zippier tire on the Sam now that i have the big dogs on the Hunq). So now I have a Sam which I have set up with drop bars and a bit lighter, and a Hunq for trail riding and camping. I am loving it so far!
