Congratulations, and nice write-up! I know some people swear by hammer gel, but it's always disagreed with me and I have a tough stomach. I've used Gu without problems, other than the horrid taste. I just stay away from gels; I use bars and drinks some times, but mostly try to stay with real food. Allen Lim's rice cakes are really good.
