This might be old news to some, but Pletscher redesigned their one-legged kickstand<http://simplecycle-marc.blogspot.com/2012/07/pletscher-zoom-kick-stand.html>. I got one from and LBS the other day, put it on my Hillborne and couldn't be more pleased with it. It seems to be a lot more stable and is adjustable without any cutting.
