Well, I guess in light of Grant Petersen's pronouncement in his book "Just RIde" there really should not be any "Riv-ish" gloves (LOL).
One of the gloves that I like, until I win the Lottery and can afford Dromarti or Rapha gloves, are these: http://www.giro.com/us_en/lx-5493.html The Giro LX gloves, which I have in a tan color, are quite nicely made and have a "Classic" look compared to the usual Lycra gloves. The price shown in the Giro site can usually be bettered on-line (e.g. Amazon, eBay, etc.).
