Don't be so sure. I commuted to work for 5 years on a Raleigh DL-1 with 28 x1 1/2" tires. Roadsters are special and everybody should try one, it's a bit like "Coelacanth for a Day" or living through a Civil War re-enactment where they're firing real bullets.
