I agree.  I was out for a 25 mile ride which included 1600 feet of climbing 
( you may remember a previous post, wisdom or courage, about going down 
this beast.  As I climbed I was thinking about riding over to my sister's 
home in the Adirondacks.  The ride is 80 miles and includes 4 miles of 14% 
grade over White Face Mt.  I've done it a few times but less certain my old 
body wants to do it again.  Anyway I decided, if I go, I'll take the bike 
with the smallest chainring (26) I own, strip the fenders & racks, and put 
the lightest wheels & tires I own (open pro & Grand Bois Cerf.) 

Whats the best time for riding in Abq.?
