I don't know the specs on these new pedals but I'd guess the Grip King are better if you like to lean and pedal through your turns. I used to run BMX style platforms that look similar in size to these VOs but I would always pedal strike. Switching to the narrower Grip Kings allows me to corner much more aggressively and my feet feel very comfortable and supported.
