Yep, them's the kneesavers. I have a pair used very lightly if you'd like to try them for a bit less than retail.
I got the idea of trying a higher Q-crank from an excellent sports massage therapist with a medical background and a superb understanding of physiology who was helping me with the ITB and other issues. Just sort of brainstorming together and her doing some research gave us the idea. And the foam roller was her idea too, though I try not to hold it against her.
