Title pretty much sums it up. This 52cm Saluki is still in its original shipping carton. Its from the very first run of Salukis. The head badges were shipped separately later because Rivendell didn't have them until after the bikes ready. Because the head tube on the smaller bikes was shorter, their head badges had to be trimmed. As a result Rivendell shipped me a full sized one and then the trimmed version to fit the bike. The frame has never been taken out of the box. I did peek inside to check for shipping damage but that's it!
Price $1,500.00 including shipping (continental US only, which will be Fed-Ex Ground: foreign shipping is at actual cost). It will be shipped on a Monday or Tuesday only, because that should ensure delivery that week (and it won't sit in a warehouse or shipping center over a weekend). Okay, why? We live in New Orleans and I purchased this after Hurricane Katrina and then sorta downsized. Despite putting together enough parts to make a nice all French component 650b tourer I've just not been able to concentrate on the project. Time to cut this one loose to someone who wants to do it! I still have a RivRoad and an A/R to ride.
