There will definitely be an inn/motel option for the non-campers. But the rally route won't be all paved trails. Lots of rustic gravel roads, maybe a treacherous water crossing or two for adventure's sake. That said, there are many miles of excellent paved bike trails in that area, and that's a nice time of year to be there. Maybe the rally will be two-pronged: the adventurous backroad route and the more relaxing route on paved trails. Good idea.
