The A. Homer Hilsen was going to be the Honus Wagner until the heirs of
Honus--through the law firm that represents the estates of Michael Jackson,
Marilyn Monroe, Sammy Davis Jr., and Honus--and others---at the last minute
before the signing of a deal which would have earned them $40 per bike
sold--well, the got greedy, wanted more, wanted to be able to buy an
unlimited number at our cost, basically got riduculous. So I said See You
Fine Folks and then they backpedalled, but too late. We came up w ith a
name that nobody owned, and it was AHH.

Betty Foy is the mom and hero in The Idiot Boy, a long poem by William
Wordsworth. I liked the poem so much I memorized it (can't say it all now),
and in that phase I named the bike. I kinda wish it were a genderless name,
or maybe a boy's name, which women don't mind buying as much as guys mind
Betty Foy. So we have Yves Gomez for that. YG was a mix of unlikely first
and last names, but Dave her found an Yves Gomez in Europe. We offered him
a great deal on a frame (below cost), but no answer.
The wife of a customer, frame owner, is Elizabeth Foy. She's been by, but
didn't bite on the bike named for her even at half off. Oh well.

My wife's now deceased sweet old aunt's last name was Hillborn without the
E. I like the name Hillborne anyway, and Sam is a good strong name, and we
went to names in the first place to sound less generic, less "Strada
Excelsior" or whatever. Mount This, Excellerata, Le French Mtn
