Hey all: I have a very nice condition Supernova Airstream headlight. Used it in the summer on my city bike. Currently it is sitting on the shelf doing nothing owing to a new build with Dynohub and Edelux (which in turn will be replaced by a Luxos U soon enough).
Rechargeable batteries go bad when not used regularly. Much as I like the quality of the light and it's beautiful appearance, I hate to think of it slowly going to pot with nothing to do. I will be in the Bay area the 20th through the 26th. Perhaps there is a nice bike oriented help group that could use a nice light for one of their projects? Or, just as well, maybe one of you know a bike only local in need of a good quality light but without the finances to get one? RBW listers tend to be a pretty fair bunch. I don't want to give it to someone who otherwise could afford it. Definitely would be fun to get it to someone. In need.
