I rode 559X32 mm Paselas for years and they are nice tires, but I found the following defects:
1. They are surprisingly sensitive to pressure compared to other tires I've used (currently very slightly wider Kojaks). Now this was on very narrow, 19 mm Sun M14A rims, but compared to Kojaks -- and Fatboys and City Slickers -- the sweet spot between harshness and bouncing seemed quite narrow. 2. The casings were fragile -- I would notice degradation in the sidewalls after just a few months and the tread would scrape off after a panic skid on the rear. 3. They seemed more prone to flats than other tires I've used. Still, properly inflated, a smooth and fast ride, and 240 grams at $25 or less ...
