I'm not sure it's the price that's keeping the Riv folks from using dynamo lighting. During the last garage sale, they had a whole bag of new SP dynamo hubs that were sold for a song ($20 or $25). If any of the Riv folks had wanted those, I suspect they would have gotten a similarly good price on them. Not that I think the wholesale price for the SP dynamo hubs are anywhere close to $20 or $25, but at least those garage sale hubs wouldn't have appeared at the garage sale.
