Can you mount the (big or little) bracket inside the fork, on the brake bolt, next to the daruma? Can you hammer the L bracket flat and mount the bolt hole onto the daruma, so the spring mounting hole peeks out from the crown? Can you drill a hole in the fender and mount the L bracket to the fender instead of on the bolt?
