I much prefer wider tires - our current Bushnell is running 26x1.5s - but that's nothing compared to how much my dear stoker prefers the wider tires. The real issue is having it designed to actually play well with those wider tires - just increasing the width on a bike designed for 25c tires whacks the handling.
