btw, here's how I solved my front fender dilemma - had a lot of twist at the daruma, and the long cantilevered front vibrated like crazy.
<http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v728/bulldog1935/Raleigh/aP2110012.jpg> On my M18 rack, I replaced the closest diving board panhead with a 25mm, #10 external tooth lock washer and M5 nut underneath, leather washer, flat washer and M5 nut on top of the fender, and split washer and M5 nut at the diving board.
