A few years ago I tried to buy a Super C saddlebag and quick release Bagman for commuting use. Carradice is a traditional British manufacturer, producing high quality hand made products but perhaps a bit lacking in modern management techniques. Anyway, for whatever reason they were out of stock of one or the other for months and it took forever to get them. The system works really well for me and was definitely worth the wait.
The flip side of traditional manufacturing is this: Last week I fell and managed to break and lose the pin on one side of the Bagman's quick release mechanism. I tried to buy a new Bagman but, big surprise, they were out of stock. So I wrote to Carradice and asked for a replacement pin. The next day I got an email from Margret saying they were in the mail. Thanks Carradice :) Jay -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
