Hi Michael, I have the Crane striker bell on handlebar mount. It has a pleasant sound, is appropriately loud, and seems durable. I've used it for two seasons in the Boston area, leaving the bike in the weather at times, and it's non worse for the wear. There's a nice patina on it.
I have the spacer headset mount (for threadless) with temple bell on a different bike. The spacer mount is terrific, if you like having a bell on the stem. It's a very clean and refined look.
