Visited Riv on my day off to investigate, and subsequently purchase, some Bosco Bullmoose bars. Walked in to Keven and list member Jim W. talking, and Keven set me up on the large-ish Appaloosa to test the bars out.
All I can say is: Wow. That is one seriously well-sorted and capable bike. And FAST. So encouraging of speed, in fact, that I had a minor spill on some singletrack next to the Iron Horse trail, although I can attest that it was entirely the fault of the pilot, carrying a bit too much speed through a loose off-camber section, not any fault of the bike design. Back at Riv HQ spent a long time talking with Keven, Jim, and Vince, checking out Jim's proto-Hunqa and Keven's personal Appaloosa, and talking about handlebar design, frame design, and spirited riding with an upright riding position. Good times. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
