While waiting for the Nitto randonneur bar I ordered from my LBS to arrive- one of thre options I’m considering for my new Homer build- I stopped by the bike coop and found this bar:

Would it be okay to put a pipe in the bar end to ‘correct’ the errant right end. Would it be safe now or corrected? BTW I am 62 years old and 150 lbs so wouldn’t be adding a lot of stress to it.
