Never tried an Imperial, but when I swapped Moustache bars (level with
saddle) with Albatross bars (inch or so above saddle) on a bike with a
Selle Anatomica saddle featuring similar cutout, the only way I could
mitigate sliding forward on the SA was to tilt the nose up a... lot. Like,
10 degrees.

Even then, I had to play around with finding a sweet spot where I wasn't
then sliding off the *back* of the saddle. Tensioning was no help, either.

Swapped the Selle Anatomica for a B17 and I only had to tilt the nose up
maybe a degree or three to stay put.

The hammock-y effect of the SA's cutout certainly added more bouncy give on
each pedal stroke, which is all fine and good when your crotch wants to be
right over it with bars level or lower than saddle, but not so great when
you're wanting to be perched back a further.

Worth pointing out that the SA's leather was not quite as thick nor firm as
the B17, even with the laminate underlay, but I didn't really find one to
be cushier than the other, just that the B17 seemed more appropriate and
comfortable for the setup.

Hope this helps.
